Jeanne Betancourt

Art Resume

Jeanne Betancourt studied drawing and painting at the Art Students League, New York Studio School, and The School of Visual Arts in New York City, as well as the Fine Art Works Center in Provincetown, Lower Eastside Print Shop and at the studios of Joan Griswold (Great Barrington, Ma.) and Ophrah Sempesi (New York City).

Jeanne has exhibited in group shows at the National Academy of Design and The Art Students League in New York City; the Twentieth Century Gallery in Hudson, New York; at various galleries in Great Barrington and Sheffield, Massachusetts; the Pelar Gallery in Greenport, New York; the Oysterponds Historical Society in Orient, New York, and at the Atlantic Gallery in Manhattan. Her work has been awarded prizes by the Sheffield Art League and The Art Students League.
