I found my granddaughter on the porch reading Book 2 of my Three Girls In The City series.  It was wonderful and strange to talk with her about the characters and plot of my own books.  The series is four books about three girls who meet one another in a photography workshop in New York City. Even though they have very different backgrounds and personalities they become best friends and have great adventures in the big city.  Pilar is definitely a city girl.

The last stop for the tomato painting from the cookbook Farm Stand Fresh was in Orient Country Store. Now it's being hung with the other Farm Stand Fresh Cookbook paintings that I am showing at South Street Gallery in Greenport, NY. (photo by neighbor Michael diCAnio).
The opening for this solo art show and book signing is May 25.  I did 40 oil paintings for the cookbook.  All of them are in the show which will be up for the month of June. Visit farmstandfreshcookbook.com to see all of these paintings.  That's where you can order the book, too.

I donated this print to an auction at Sites Gallery   to benefit Peconic Green Growth.  This organization works to keep clean water available to the people  in Eastern Long Island.  There are many vineyards in Eastern Long Island.  I call this piece "Night In The Vineyard."  Etching, aquatint, chine colle.
