I met a Czech printmaker who speaks and reads Slovak. She told me that her grandchildren also read in Slovak and are learning to read in English. So I gave her two Pony Pal books - one in Slovak and one in English. This is the thank you note she left for me at Manhattan Graphics Center where two of her prints were on exhibit and where I do copper plate print making. Notice the clever envelope she folded from a colorful page in the newspaper. She did not use any glue or tape to make it. Can you see the clever drawing she did of a pony on her thank you note?
